Foster Application
The Foster provides at-once or emergency Pet care in a loving and comfortable residential environment for the Pet in cooperation with the Trustee and complies with the terms of the Edwin D Marks Foundation. EDMAF determines the criteria for fostering, decides which animals are eligible for foster care, and appoints foster caregivers from a pre-approved list of trained providers. EDMAF will require you to attend a Dog Foster Orientation Class prior to being accepted as a foster parent. EDMAF foster care volunteers may always refuse any specific request for any reason.

Agreement
The Foster provides emergency Pet care in a loving and comfortable residential environment for the assigned Pet and agrees to cooperate with the Trustee and comply with the terms of the Edwin D Marks Foundation.
Foster Responsibilites
As a Foster, I agree to oversee a particular animal assigned to me by the EDMF Trustee. As a Foster, I will evaluate the Pet from the time it arrives to give an overview of what a Caretaker can expect and to assist in matching the Pet to a Caretaker. The expectation is that the Pet would need fostering for a minimum of 48 hours. The Foster will compete for EDMF a report on the Pet. The Foster will work as a go-between for the Trustee and Caretaker until the Pet is settled and agrees to work together with the Pet's veterinarian.
Digital Profile and Video Authorization
The Foster agrees to provide a digital profile with photos and video of the living conditions for the Pet. I hereby grant Edwin D Marks Foundation permission to use my likeness in a photograph, video, or other digital media (“photo”) in any and all of its publications, including web-based publications, without payment or other consideration. I understand and agree that all photos will become the property of Edwin D Marks Foundation and will not be returned. I hereby irrevocably authorize Edwin D Marks Foundation to edit, alter, copy, exhibit, publish, or distribute these photos for any lawful purpose. In addition, I waive any right to inspect or approve the finished product wherein my likeness appears. Additionally, I waive any right to royalties or other compensation arising or related to the use of the photo. I hereby hold harmless, release, and forever discharge Edwin D Marks Foundation from all claims, demands, and causes of action which I, my heirs, representatives, executors, administrators, or any other persons acting on my behalf or on behalf of my estate have or may have by reason of this authorization.
Consent
I agree to the Foster policy.
The jurisdiction that governs the law of this agreement Is Florida Law, in the county of Palm Beach County. Florida law governs this trust even if the property is being provided care out of the state of Florida.

WAVIER OF RESPONSIBILITY
The Edwin D. Marks Animal foundation is not a dog rescue. It does not take responsibility for the decision-making of the Animal. Its purpose is to encourage that dogs are looked after.

The Foster agrees to hold harmless for any enforcement of any provisions against the Trust or the Pet. It waives any right the dog has under the ASPCA. The Caretaker holds harmless the Edwin D Marks Animal Foundation in all matters.

GRIEVANCE PROCESS
If at any time the Foster needs to make a decision, purchase, or a situation arises, agrees in advance to submit a written grievance to the Trustee.

If you have any questions about any of the privacy, practice please contact the Trustee by email documentation. In the arbitration clause, no civil proceeding may be brought against the Trustee.

BREACH OF THIS AGREEMENT
If the Foster breaches this agreement the Trustee may demand the immediate forfeiture of the care, custody, and control of the Pet directly appointed by the Trustee to pick up the Pet.

TERMINATION OF THIS AGREEMENT
In the event that the Trustee thinks that the Foster is not complying with the terms set forth by the Pet Trust, immediate removal of the Pet will occur.
